Only a few weeks separate us from the start of the ESC 2023. The participants have been decided and the songs are hotly debated. Below you will find all participants of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 and videos in which they present their songs.
A notice: Tonight (9.3.2023) at 7 p.m. the premiere of the song by Alika (Estonia) and at 8 p.m. by The Busker (Malta) will take place. The participants from Portugal and Sweden remain unknown.

Below we list all participants in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 and link their videos on YouTube so that you can get an impression of their songs. The order of the countries is alphabetical.
Azerbaijan Contestant: TuralTuranX with the song “Tell Me More”
TuralTuranX enters the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with the song “Tell Me More”. The brothers wrote their own song. Ever since they first touched a piano at school, music seemed to be their thing. The following video introduces you to TuralTuranX. The song will be released in the coming days:
Finland participants: Käärijä with the song “Cha Cha Cha”
Is that a Rammstein tattoo on the singer’s chest? Apparently inspired by the sounds of the world-renowned band, Käärijä represents Finland with the song “Cha Cha Cha”.
Ireland Contestant: Wild Youth with the song “We Are One”
The band Wild Youth from Dublin will represent Ireland. The special thing about it is that Wild Youth made it into the ESC 2023, although the band of John Lydon, the singer of the Sex Pistols, was among the possible participants. You can see the song “We Are One” in the following video:
Israel participants: Noa Kirel with the song “Unicorn”

Croatia participants: Let 3 with the song “Mama ŠČ”

Latvia participants: Sudden Lights with the song “Aijā”
After Sudden Lights narrowly missed out on participating in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2018, they are making progress this year. With the song “Aijā” the band managed to convince of their skills. But convince yourself with the following video:
Malta Contestants: The Busker with the song “Dance (Our Own Party)”
Crowd favorites The Busker won the crowds in Malta by a wide margin. They will appear at ESC 2023 with the song “Dance (Our Own Party)”, which will premiere today (March 9, 2023) at 8 p.m. Here you can find the link to the video:
Moldova participants: Pasha Parfeni with the song “Soarele și Luna”
It’s not Pasha Parfeni’s first appearance at the Eurovision Song Contest. Already in 2012 the participant Moldova led to the final. It remains to be seen whether he will succeed again more than ten years later. You can see the song with which he wants to convince at ESC 2023 in the following video:
Netherlands Contestants: Mia Nicolai & Dion Cooper with the song “Burning Daylight”

Belgium participants: Gustaph with the song “Because Of You”

Denmark contestant: Reiley with the song “Breaking My Heart”
On TikTok, Reiley almost 11 million followers and not everything there revolves around music. Whether he will be as successful at ESC 2023 remains to be seen. For a first impression you can watch the following video:
Estonia participants: Alika with the song “Bridges”
Alika is the winner of a TV show broadcast in Estonia that can be described as a version of Deutschland sucht den Superstar. With the song “Bridges” the singer wants to lead Estonia to victory. The official video will premiere today (March 9, 2023) at 7 p.m. Here you can find the link:
Georgia participants: Iru, song still unknown
Iru is a singer who has already gained a lot of experience in music competitions. Even as a child she took part in many of these events. Do you have enough experience to get Georgia to win the Eurovision Song Contest? The song she will compete with has not yet been chosen.
Greece participants: Victor Vernicos with the song “What They Say”
Victor Vernicos has only 16 years on his life counter and wrote the ballad he wants to perform in Liverpool himself. The song has not yet been officially published.
Iceland participants: Diljá with the song “Power”
Diljá had known for years that she would take part in the Söngvakeppnin (Icelandic music competition and national preliminary round for the ESC) and was preparing for it. Lithuania participants: Monika Linkytė with the song “Stay”
This is not Monika Linkytė’s first appearance at the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2015 she took part together with Vaidas Baumila and the Dua won 18th place. In Liverpool, the singer will compete alone and present the song “Stay”. You can hear how it sounds in the following video:
Austria participants: Teya & Salena with the song “Who The Hell Is Edgar?”
The duo can play the saxophone and guitar and, of course, sing. Both singers have been involved in music since childhood. They will travel to Liverpool for Austria in May 2023. You can hear the song “Who The Hell Is Edgar?” they want to compete with in the following video:
Poland participant: Blanka with the song “Solo”
Eurodance isn’t dead yet. At least that’s how it seems, because Poland is sending Blanka to Liverpool with the Eurodance song “Solo”. Whether Blanka can win with it remains to be seen. San Marino Contestants: Piqued Jacks with the song “Like An Animal”

Slovenia participants: Joker Out with the song “Carpe Diem”

France participants: La Zarra with the song “Évidemment”
La Zarra is an admirer of Celine Dion and is representing France in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. She arrives in Liverpool with the song “Évidemment”. You can hear how it sounds in the following video:
Great Britain (UK) contestant: Mae Muller with the song “I Wrote A Song”
Mae Muller is no beginner either. In 2019 she released her first album and this year she will represent Great Britain as a participant in the ESC. You can hear their song “I Wrote A Song” in the following video:
Italy participants: Marco Mengoni with the song “Due Vite”
10 years ago Marco Mengoni took part in the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time. With the song “Due Vite” he will compete again for Italy. You can hear the song in the video below:
Spain participants: Blanca Paloma with the song “Eaea”
Blanca Paloma was able to prevail against her competition consisting of 17 other acts and is allowed to go to Liverpool with her song “Eaea” for Spain. You can hear how it sounds in the following video:
