Xiaomi is known for building very experimental smartphones. If the Chinese company decides on a path and focus, then this will also be carried out ice-cold. With the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra, it becomes clear that the device boundaries tend to blur.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra with gigantic camera section
Xiaomi has already shown with the 12S Ultra and the 1-inch sensor with the huge camera area that this smartphone puts the focus on the camera. With the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the design is once again taken to the extreme. This time, two 1-inch camera sensors are to be used and the housing on the back is about a third of one huge camera hump consist. The effect is reinforced by the back, which frames the camera section with an elevation.
Basically, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will have a double camera hump. Once over the back and then again the camera section itself, which is once again protruding from the housing. The design is underlined by a shell that has also been leaked:
With the case you can see again very clearly how the back slightly rises just below the power button and how much the camera section protrudes again. So it’s in the smartphone a really powerful camerawhich will hopefully take decent photos.
Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro presented
On February 26th, Xiaomi hosted a big event as part of the MWC 2023 in Barcelona. This is where the new Xiaomi 13 phones were presented. The big question will be when the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will follow. The company had already confirmed that the Ultra cell phone would also come to Europe. So it will be exciting to see if that happens soon.
