The AVM Fritzbox is one of the most popular routers on the market. A new model was recently introduced with the Fritzbox 7530 AX, which scores particularly well with one property and is now being sold at a lower price. If you don’t need the additional power, you can also use the normal Fritzbox 7530 very well. The AX model with a suitable Fritzfon is currently available at a lower price.

The Fritzbox 7530 is the VW Golf among the AVM routers. Although it does not offer all the functions and the same performance as the top model 7590 (AX), it can particularly score with its price-performance ratio. In the meantime, the price of the Fritzbox 7530 has fallen sharply. Currently there is the AVM router for only 119 euros at Saturn (look at Saturn).
Amazon went along with the price and is now charging 119 euros instead of 137 euros (see Amazon).
If her something more efficient then you can use the Fritzbox 7530 AX. The new model was officially presented just a few months ago and is already on sale. Instead of 169 euros, MediaMarkt (see MediaMarkt) and Saturn currently only charge 150 euros (see Saturn).
What makes the AVM Fritzbox 7530 AX so special?
The new AVM router already supports this latest WiFi 6 network. This enables a much better connection via WLAN with other WiFi 6 devices and also a higher transmission rate of up to 1,800 megabits in the 5 GHz network. Modern smartphones already support this standard, and more and more devices will do so in the future. Especially if you have WiFi problems, should use the latest technology to fix them. Otherwise the normal Fritzbox 7530 is sufficient.
Otherwise, the router offers everything you would expect from a modern device. This includes four LAN ports, the option of connecting DECT, IP and analogue telephones or a NAS. Of course, the Fritzbox can also be used as a control center for smart home devices. Everything can be controlled via the Fritz OS, which is regularly expanded with new functions.

What are the AVM routers good for?
I myself use the normal Fritzbox 7530 and am very satisfied. When I decided on this model back then, the AX version didn’t exist yet. If I had to choose now, I would go for the AX version with the better WiFi, since I use several repeaters because the WiFi signal is weak here due to the thick walls. Otherwise I am very satisfied and I use many other AVM products that work together perfectly with it.
