LEGO bricks are no longer just for creative building or for children. Sets are released again and again that make certain fan hearts beat faster. After there have already been constructions for Back-to-the-Future fans and soccer fans, among others, K-Pop enthusiasts will soon be able to enjoy a set by the South Korean boy band BTS. Fans can be happy: There will be one figure from all seven members.
The BTS set has the model name “LEGO Ideas 21339 BTS Dynamite”. It was officially announced by the Danish group with a teaser on February 16th. The shop page is now online.
LEGO BTS Dynamite (21339): when to pre-order? Date & price
Anyone who visits the site can already take a look at what Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jung Kook look like in LEGO format. However, the BTS set cannot be pre-ordered yet. It will only be available from March 1, 2023. The price is 99.99 euros. As with previous sets, you should set an alarm or stay up late. As a rule, advance sales for LEGO sets start the night before the announced date. Kits like the house from “Home Alone” were initially sold out quickly and were not available for weeks.
The BTS Dynamite set is the first set for a K-pop band. Before the BTS model, there was already a LEGO kit for a music video: in 2016, they released a construction that was about The Beatles’ “Yellow Submarine”. In addition to the 7 BTS members in LEGO format, there is also something to build. So you can recreate and replay scenes from the hit single Dynamite. According to the announcement, the model will also be posable, so you can let the boy band dance.

LEGO: BTS set for the video “Dynamite”
The set includes a record store, palm trees, a basketball hoop and a painted wall, which is featured in the song’s video clip. It will consist of 749 components. There will also be some stickers that need to be put on the bricks. The video has since been viewed more than 1.6 billion times on YouTube. The LEGO model comes from the “Ideas” program, where creative hobbyists can submit their own ideas. Here JBBrickFanatic and BangtanBricks are the designers.
The BTS Dynamite set will initially be sold exclusively at LEGO. With other sets, it usually took around 3 months before they were also offered in other stores. The packaging shows an age recommendation of “18+”. That’s not to say the set isn’t suitable for youngsters. Instead, LEGO simply wants to appeal to an adult target group.
