Imagine a 10 year old boy building a telescope that can actually see the Moon.
Zhuang Mingyang from Guangdong spent just 28 yuan which is about 4 dollars using cardboard and sticks and everyday materials to build a working telescope at home.
He bought and hand polished the mirrors himself then assembled everything using simple items like bottle caps and cotton swabs and a PVC pipe.
The result is a telescope powerful enough to clearly show lunar craters. He taught himself by watching videos online.
His videos have now reached millions with people calling him the future of science.
But at home nothing has changed. He is still a third grade student who builds in his free time and plans to keep improving what he started.
Sometimes genius does not come from big labs. Sometimes it starts with cardboard and a question. What if I try?
