A first cryptic teaser trailer does without game scenes and characters, but makes a direct color statement for the new design with a neon green logo.

This means that the upcoming spin-off is noticeably atmospherically different from the poppy look of the fourth part or the jazzy style of the fifth part. Instead, the team is leaning more towards the melancholy flair of “Persona 3”. The role-playing epic heralds the fourth decade of the franchise.

Senua

A playful new beginning on a familiar foundation
Ninja Theory takes the criticism of its playfully shallow predecessor to heart. The fact that the studio deliberately chose not to add “Hellblade” to its name underlines the radical change of course. The developers are taking steps completely new ways and this time deliver more complex and varied gameplay. The structure breaks with the strict linearity of its predecessors and opens up for a more dynamic gaming experience.
In terms of narrative, the title ties in directly with the events of “Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2”. Although the protagonist is on the mend, her emotional journey is far from complete. And despite the changes in gameplay, Ninja Theory remains true to its strengths. Therefore, Senua’s psychosis and her internal struggle continue to form the emotional heart of the plot.

Not for PS5 players: Gears of War & Clockwork
“Gears of War: E-Day” and “Clockwork Revolution” are certainly among the highlights. However, there is bad news for PS5 players: both games are in development exclusively for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
The Gears of War: E-Day Opening Trailer showed thrilling gameplay. New mechanics such as dynamic slides promise a return to the dark series roots. The RPG experts at inXile, on the other hand, showed a new trailer for “Clockwork Revolution” and showed a lot of character with a humorous robbery. The PS5 group has to forego both productions – at least for an unknown period of time.

Aside from new games, Microsoft also had a real hardware surprise in store at the Xbox Showcase: it will be released in November 2026 the limited Xbox Series X25 for the brand’s 25th anniversary. The technically regular console with 1 TB of storage space impresses with its completely transparent housing in OG green. When you turn it on, the top X lights up nostalgically, reminding you of the start-up process of the very first Xbox.
