If you would like to recall the events of the previous games in the franchise before the release of “Kingdom Hearts 4”, you will soon be able to do this on the PS5 with the “Kingdom Hearts Collection I~III”.
As part of the first Nintendo Direct For a solid nine months, the video game company has unveiled various new projects – including one Remake von „The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time“! In addition, there was for the first time in years new video material to see “Kingdom Hearts 4”. But that wasn’t all that fans of the series can look forward to, because in the same breath Square Enix announced a new game collection with “Kingdom Hearts Collection I~III”.
As the title of the collection suggests, it includes the full Kingdom Hearts package. The game collection released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series Square Enix has confirmed that players will be able to purchase each of these three compilations separately.
Experience the complete Dark Seeker Saga in one big package
“Kingdom Hearts Collection I~III” offers fans of the popular game series – and of course all those who want to become one – a kind of all-round, worry-free package. In it you can experience all nine games of the “Dark Seeker Saga” (German: “Seeker of Darkness”). So you see Sora leaving his tranquil home, meeting all sorts of well-known Disney characters for the first time and confronting dark forces.
The first compilation of the game collection, “Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX”, offers graphical improvements compared to the original releases of the six titles it contains. In addition, the “Re Mind” DLC for “Kingdom Hearts 3” is included as standard in this bundle. During the original release, the DLC, which offers new story content, had to be purchased separately.

Furthermore, players who buy one of the bundles or the entire collection will receive platform-exclusive in-game items as a bonus. The “Midnight Blue” Keyblade awaits on the PS5, while Xbox Series players get the “Phantom Green” Keyblade. If you buy the Nintendo Switch 2 version, you get the “Long Night” keyblade.
“Kingdom Hearts Collection I~III” will be released on October 8, 2026 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
