Today the third season of “Battlefield 6” starts in phase 2: In addition to a legendary map remake and the return of a real fan-favorite mode, all undecided shooter fans can also expect a one-week free test phase.
Went at the beginning of May Season 3 von „Battlefield 6“ at the start and brought back not only an absolute fan favorite with Railway to Golmud, but also the largest map in the game to date, which delivers large-scale battles on foot, in vehicles and in the air.
Today we’re moving into the next round: The starting signal has now been given for phase 2 called “Blastpoint”, which brings with it another legendary map in a revised form and the comeback of an extremely popular game mode.
And to coincide with today’s launch, EA is also launching a free trial, so that “Battlefield 6” can now be tried out completely free of charge for a whole week.
Cairo Bazaar: The Return of a Legend
The highlight of the mid-season update – especially for veterans – will undoubtedly be the new map Cairo Bazaar. Anyone who spent countless hours in the Grand Bazaar in “Battlefield 3” will immediately feel at home here.

Developer DIC has reinterpreted the layout of the classic as an almost perfect mirror image and transported it to the heart of Cairo. The map relies entirely on intensive infantry battles in narrow streets and densely built-up market districts.
Larger vehicles have to limit themselves to the outer ring roads – in the center there is pure chaos, clever flanking maneuvers and explosive house-to-house fighting.
Cult Mode returns
In keeping with the new map, the Obliteration mode from “Battlefield 4” is also celebrating its big comeback.
The principle of the game is as simple as it is ingenious: a neutral bomb appears in the middle of the map and both teams have to try to secure the explosive charge, escort the bomb carrier across the battlefield and use it to blow up the three enemy radio stations (M-COMs).
However, since the bomb carrier is permanently marked on the map for all players, dynamic front lines and dramatic rescue operations at the last second are inevitable. In addition, the time-limited “Explosive Charge” event starts today, which offers special challenges around the theme of destruction and momentum.
Phase 2 of Season 3 is rounded off as usual with new weapons and gadgets. These include the legendary PP-19 submachine gun, a portable jammer for the reconnaissance class and new attachments – including the cryo barrel, which lets you change your sights even faster and remains more precise when firing continuously.
Of course, update 1.3.2.0 also brings with it numerous bug fixes and improvements. It reveals exactly what is changing in detail official changelog.
