Players on Xbox Series X|S and PC can already travel to Japan in “Forza Horizon 6”. However, they might encounter a mistake that ruins their progress.
Since May 19th “Forza Horizon 6” Available from Playground Games for Xbox Series X|S and PC. The new game takes the series to Japan for the first time and not only offers fast street racing, but also various biomes to explore.
However, the mood in the “Forza Horizon 6” community is currently clouding over. Both Xbox and PC users are reporting an error that is causing them to lose their game progress. The developers at Playground Games announced a patch and gave tips to prevent this problem.
Update is already being rolled out
As the developers of “Forza Horizon 6” state on the game’s support website, the team is currently investigating a bug that is causing saves to be lost or reset. This bug is only intended to affect some players.
Additionally, it was stated that Xbox developers are actively working on a platform update for Xbox Series X|S and PC. The fixes have already been rolled out on the PC. The improvements will be available on the console from June 12th.
The exact cause of this error has not yet been named by Playground Games. According to media reports, the details could indicate problems with Xbox cloud saves, gaming services and the synchronization of save files between different devices.

The developers advise affected users to open a ticket on the Forza support website after the error occurs. Players should submit the ticket on the same day the issue occurs. This would increase the chances that the developers can restore the lost saves. Users should also not create new game sessions or save games until Forza Support has reviewed their case.
Console players should take further steps
As the developers further state, “Forza Horizon 6” players who regularly switch between different devices should exercise particular caution. This applies to switching between consoles or PCs as well as between Steam and cloud gaming.
Players on the Xbox Series X|S should also deactivate the Quick Resume feature for “Forza Horizon 6”. To do this, the game’s cover art must be highlighted on the console interface, either on the home page, under “My Games” or elsewhere. By pressing the menu button, players can access the Manage Addons menu and then the Quick Resume settings.
According to the experts at Alinea Analytics, “Forza Horizon 6” has been able to perform well since launch more than 6.4 million times for Xbox Series X|S and PC. However, users on the Playstation 5 will have to wait a little longer. The racing game is intended for the Sony console to be published later this year. The developers are also working on additional content for the game.
