Paramount has teased a new game for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The action RPG should be based on God of War and implement the darkest chapter of the Turtles. We summarize all the information for you.

Paramount wants its own God of War

Very few fans expected that, but film giant Paramount did a new Turtles game announced.

The still unnamed game will be based on the comic series The Last Ronin and takes players to a dark future where only one Turtle lives. He wants revenge on the murderers of his family and uses the iconic ninja weapons of his deceased brothers.

Paramount doesn’t want to do things by halves and describes the game as Action RPG at AAA level. Sony’s mega blockbuster God of War serves as a template.

It is not yet known which studio is developing the Turtles game and when it will be released.

Although little is known about the action RPGthe announcement is already being wildly celebrated on Twitter and Reddit.

Especially the comparison with God of War makes the fans curious. Will the game be as brutal? After all, the original Turtles comics are pretty gory as well.
